Bio
Professor Ron Turner began his Jiu-Jitsu journey over 30 years ago, earning a Black Belt in traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2006 and being promoted to the rank of Black Belt by Professor Eddie Bravo in the 10th Planet System In 2015. In 2024, Professor Bravo awarded Coach Turner with his 3rd degree Black Belt. Throughout his career, Ron has fought professionally, experiencing the highs and lows of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).
Now retired from professional fighting, he has used these skills and experiences to coach fighters at all levels from amateur to the UFC (but takes most pleasure in coaching the everyday Jiu-Jitsu practitioners)! With over three decades of experience in Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, he is a dictionary of techniques, stories, and is every bit as passionate about Jiu-Jitsu, as he was when he first stepped on the mats!
